Table Chart: Hurricanes and Tornadoes

This is a table which shows us some information about hurricanes and tornadoes. Now I’m going to compare and contrast between hurricanes and tornadoes.

The features of hurricanes and tornadoes are different. The minimum wind speed of hurricanes is 74 mph whereas 40 mph is the minimum wind speed of tornadoes. The hurricanes are slower than the tornadoes in maximum wind speed, hurricanes with 155-200 mph and tornadoes with 250-300 mph. The duration of hurricanes is long compared to tornadoes with an average of one week while most tornadoes last for a few minutes and some last a few hours. The hurricanes have an average width of about 300 miles whereas 100-600 meters is the average width of tornadoes and sometimes up to 1.5 km.

As you can see hurricanes and tornadoes are different from each other. For me I think the hurricanes are more dangerous than the tornadoes, because they have a huge width which can cause a lot of damage.
